This strand studies the values and countervalues that emerge in traditional motor practices through the interaction between the internal logic of games and their cultural contexts. It examines how traditional sporting games can contribute to values education from a multidimensional perspective, including values associated with the physiological, emotional, relational and decision-making dimensions. It considers the different people involved, including players, coaches, referees and families, as well as the cultural dimension.
