On 29 September, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture will hold a seminar on “Traditional Sports and Games, the way ahead”.

Our colleague Professor Pere Lavega i Burgués, a member of GIAM and INDEST and president of the European Association of Traditional Games and Sports, will speak in the second part.

The seminar will take place online in three parts. Access the seminar.

The first part will introduce the topic and present participants’ experiences.

The second will discuss the safeguarding and promotion of traditional games.

The final part will analyse the proceedings and draw conclusions.
