On 15 December 2021, motor praxeology research groups from Brazil and Spain held an international meeting.

The aim was to get to know one another, share experiences, projects and interests, and explore potential collaborations between groups and individuals.

Brazil was represented by the Grupo de Estudos Praxiológicos (GEP), led by Professor João Francisco Magno Ribas, and the Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa das Abordagens Táticas nos Esportes Coletivos (NEPATEC), led by Professor Lilian Aparecida Ferreira.

The Motor Action Research Group (GIAM), led by Dr Pere Lavega, also took part.

Around 40 people took part in the online meeting, and everyone had a chance to speak.

Over the years, many students from Brazil have joined GIAM, completed doctoral theses and contributed to research and publications.

The meeting laid the groundwork for future exchanges.
