Issue 29 of Acción Motriz published “Educación de las conductas motrices sostenibles” by Dr Francisco Lagardera, a former professor at INEFC Lleida and an active member of the Motor Action Research Group (GIAM). He examines how physical education has evolved in relation to motor conduct, sustainability and sustainable development. He calls for moving beyond a mechanistic view of physical education and proposes creating a formal and informal educational discipline called education for sustainable motor conduct.

We thank Dr Lagardera for this timely reflection and for his continued contribution to motor praxeology and physical education, fields in which he has left a significant intellectual legacy.
