GIAM is concluding its active involvement in the Erasmus+ Together project.
The project sought to foster inclusive dialogue through traditional sports and games (TSGs).
Activities included training for professionals at centres serving people with intellectual disabilities. The project also developed and shared an intervention guide and applied tools to assess the positive effects of traditional sports and games on social inclusion.
The results show the potential of traditional sports and games to promote social inclusion. The Motor Action Research Group (GIAM) led the preparation of the guide, the design of the intervention programmes and the impact study.
